Why wall mounting in Zurich is tricky
Zurich apartments have three very different wall types: solid concrete load walls in new builds, old brick walls in townhouses, and drywall partitions in renovated flats. Each needs a different anchor, drilling technique and load calculation. A 60-kg cabinet on the wrong wall will come down sooner or later — and take the plaster with it. We check what we're dealing with before every hole.
What we mount
TVs (large ones too, up to 85 inches), wall cabinets of every kind, heavy shelves, lamps and ceiling lights, curtain rails, mirrors, picture rails, coat racks, wall consoles, AC indoor units, baby monitor cameras — anything that has to hang safely.
Before every mount we scan with a detector: live cables, water pipes, steel beams. Only then do we drill. For critical loads (TV, cabinet, heavy mirror) we test the actual wall capacity, not the theoretical one — because drywall is not just drywall.

Common questions
Can you drill in rented flats?
Yes — and we discuss with you whether holes need filling at move-out. We can come back on the move-out day to patch them.
What does a TV wall mount cost?
Depending on wall type and bracket, CHF 90.– to CHF 180.–. Concrete with cable channel and trim around CHF 220.–.
Do you bring the bracket?
On request, yes — tell us TV model, size and weight, and we'll bring a fitting tested bracket.
Is ceiling lamp work dangerous?
Not if the breaker is off and live wires are tested first. We do that routinely before every lamp install.
